Trainer Adam Booth on Joshua vs Klitschko, how the fight might play out and ultimately who he is leaning towards in his fight pick.
Adam Booth is a man who knows Wladimir Klitschko well having prepared his ex-fighter David Haye for their fight a number of years back in Germany.
Booth, a relentless student of the sport and renowned tactician, is probably in as good a position as any to try to call the fight.

But even he admits that the fight could go either way. Speaking to Kugan Cassius of IFL TV Adam Booth on Joshua vs Klitschko:
“I’m going to go with youth and energy, and pick Anthony Joshua. But I’m only going by that by the slightest of margins because if Wlad did nullify Anthony’s attributes and actually can get control and win the fight I wouldn’t be surprised. But if you’re only as good as you’re last figh, Anthony is on the ascendancy and is improving fight by fight. Wlad’s last performance (Tyson Fury) was not good. Based on that you have to go with Anthony.”
Booth’s opinion seems to be a popular one at the moment. Questions like how much does Klitschko have left and how good really is Anthony Joshua are common place.
Joshua has been adamant in his belief that boxing is a young man’s game in the build-up. Although Klitschko is not exactly the average 41 year old.
He looks after himself very well outside the ring and no doubt has the bit between his teeth for this after the Fury loss in 2015.
