The polarizing Irishman will go into the fight as an underdog. Although strangely not as big as one as you might have thought.

Most don’t give ‘Mystic Mac’ much of a chance in a boxing match with Mayweather.

McGregor has never had a professional boxing match and Floyd Mayweather is considered an all time great in the squared circle.

It’s pretty simple, really.

However some bookmakers and sports books are offering McGregor as low as 10/1 to beat Mayweather – where perhaps 200/1 would be more realistic.

Whatever you’re opinion might be, there’s no denying it will be huge event when it happens this year.

Mayweather isn’t going to be quaking in his boots you’d have to say after watching McGregor working boxing in the Irishman’s latest Instagram post:

It is understood at this time that McGregor’s girlfriend is still due to give birth to the couple’s first child.

So an announcement on Mayweather vs McGregor will have to wait until the good news comes for McGregor and his partner first.
