Former super-bantamweight world champion Scott Quigg is currently out in Hollywood at the Wild Card gym training under new trainer Freddie Roach.
News came today that Quigg is one fight away from a shot at world champion Lee Selby, so will be looking to make a fast start to his working relationship with Roach.
Previously Quigg had been trained by Manchester and Ring Magazine trainer of the year Joe Gallagher but after his loss to Carl Frampton in 2016, by all accounts he was just looking for a change.

Roach is an offensive-first minded coach and his Hall of Fame credentials speak for themselves.
Quigg for the most part is involved in entertaining fights so one would imagine the hook up with Roach will only add further to his fight style.
Like many boxers this week he’s been asked his opinion on Joshua vs Klitschko this weekend.
Speaking to Sky Sports news today here is Scott Quigg on Joshua vs Klitschko said that he was weary of Klitschko’s experience but ultimately felt youth would shine through.
He went with a round 10 stoppage for Anthony Joshua. One of the only fighters we’ve come across this week to actually call the round of the fight.
