Big fight fever is in the air this week ahead of Joshua vs Klitschko and when it comes to boxing tactics in big fights – you’ll struggle to find someone more qualified than trainer Adam Booth.
Booth masterminded the game plans of boxers like David Haye and George Groves on a number of occasions and has been known over the years to be one of the best when it comes to fight tactics.
He also knows Wladimir Klitschko very well – perhaps too well for him at this stage. His charge David Haye famously came up short in a stinker to Klitschko a few years back in Germany.
No doubt it’s something that still plagues Booth’s mind. A relentless thinker.

Although Haye came up short that night, Booth studied Wladimir consistently for a number of years as Haye was mounting his charge at the boxer from the Ukraine.
Booth is known to stay up until all hours at night studying fights and boxer styles in a bid to give his pupils the best possible tactics available come fight night.
