An Anthony Joshua Klitschko incident on fight week seems to have gone under the radar leading up to one of the biggest fights of 2017.
Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko have been respectful on camera with one another throughout the build up to this fight since it was first announced.
Apparently not the case with an Anthony Joshua Klitschko incident during the week however.
Tony Bellew of Sky Sports has said that when Joshua turned his mic off at the final press conference on Thursday that he said to Klitschko:
“I’m going to hurt you.”
A bit different from the usual humility exhibited by Joshua.
The above shows he really means business now on fight week and the switch was flipped this week as he narrows his focus.
The flipping of the switch won’t fully happen though perhaps just moments before he makes his ring walk in front of 90,000 people.
The pressure on him tonight is considerable when you factor in not just the size of the event, but also the fact most people are looking at him as the future of boxing if he can win.
I’d expect Joshua to be fairly explosive right from the get go tonight as he looks to etch himself into boxing history with a big win.
