Deontay Wilder and Tony Bellew get into altercation here in this heated public dispute between the American and Englishman.
Ahead of Anthony Joshua vs Wladimir Klitschko, two other heavyweight boxers turned pundits on the fight this weekend – Deontay Wilder and Tony Bellew have gotten into it in the UK.
Both men will be near each other again tonight as they work for Sky Sports covering the event’s proceedings but really got into big style yesterday.
The two have been linked with a fight ever since Tony Bellew shocked the boxing world to stop David Haye inside the distance back in March.
WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder boxed earlier this year when he stopped Gerald Washington inside the distance last February.
By all accounts Bellew has decided to stick around in the heavyweight division instead of moving back down to cruiserweight – so a fight with Wilder could very well be a realistic possibility.
The two are colorful characters when it comes to selling a fight.
Both are well able to talk and a match between the two would bring about the healthy USA vs UK boxing rivalry once again.
At present Bellew is probably (just) the bigger name in truth, but Wilder is the man with the belt and likely would call the shots in negotiations.
