Katie Taylor wins her 5th fight as a professional and sets up a WBA world title fight for the near future in 2017.
Female boxing sensation Katie Taylor extended her unbeaten record tonight to 5-0 (3KO) on the undercard of Anthony Joshua vs Wladimir Klitschko undercard at Wembley stadium.
Taking on German Nina Meinke, Taylor proved to be a class above her opponent in terms of ability but also was much physically stronger.

As well as being a world title eliminator, Taylor also picked up an intercontinental title tonight for her efforts.
Speaking after the fight her promoter Eddie Hearn mentioned that the plan is to bring Taylor back to Ireland at some stage where she is already a big star.
Many are predicting that Taylor could catapult professional women’s boxing to a new level with her exciting fight style that has buckets of combinations in it.
So far since turning pro Taylor has been on fire and boxing very regularly. If this activity continues it won’t be long before she’s a world champion and topping cards of her own.
