Klitschko Reacts To Anthony Joshua Defeat

Wladimir Klitschko reacts to losing to Anthony Joshua at Wembley stadium in one of the most dramatic fights in years.

The boxing world has woken up this morning as a bit of new place with Anthony Joshua’s big win over Wladimir Klitschko.

It was a classic heavyweight title fight that displayed power, heart and skill throughout. Both men went down in the fight but in the end it was Joshua who got the stoppage in the 11th round.

After the fight Wladimir Klitschko was in philosophical mood and like always showed a lot of class. Humble in defeat and seemed to be speaking well despite a ferocious fight that saw some huge blows exchanged.

Asked in the post-fight press conference was he thinking about retiring, he said he was not and was too early for him to think about such a thing.

Number 2

If anything he showed he has plenty left with the performance last night. It was one of the most exciting Klitschko fights ever.

For a boxer at 41 years of age who had not boxed in a year and a half, he showed incredible ability both technically and physically.

Perhaps some would even welcome a rematch after such a fine display from both fighters.
