Heavyweight champion of the world Anthony Joshua gets quite the motor as he enjoys his new world superstar status.
Anthony Joshua is enjoying a well deserved rest this week as he basks in the glory of beating Wladimir Klitschko in front of a sell out 90,000 crowd at Wembley.
He probably won’t even have much time to let it sink in though, as it is thought he’ll be back in action sooner rather than later according to his promoter.
Before his fight with Klitschko Joshua was quoted as saying he’d like to be boxing’s first billionaire fighter from the sport.
Barry Hearn of Matchroom Sport (who promotes Joshua) told Betfred he doesn’t think it’s a pipe dream but it could take ten years at least of competing at the top of the heavyweight division.
The only active sportsman during his career to the best of this writer’s knowledge to ever go over the $1 billion dollar mark was golfer Tiger Woods.
Joshua is a humble chap, but that doesn’t mean he can’t enjoy the fruits of his hard earned labor.
Before the fight with Klitschko it was reported by The Mirror that Joshua received a brand new personalized Land Rover thought to be worth £150,000 (nearly $200,000 US).
Well deserved. Here he is with his new wheels that look pretty slick:
