The Joshua fight with Fury as already been booked with an early date and venue booked the ex-champion reveals.
Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury seems like a case of ‘when’ rather than ‘if’ it will happen. It’s such a gigantic fight for many reasons, it would be hard to see it not happening in truth.
Even if the two were both to lose in the near future, it’s is a heavyweight fight that will always be a big draw from a story line perspective alone.
It’s got that stereotypical good guy vs bad guy element that fans love.
Fans have always been intrigued in hero vs villain type stories.
Although Fury behind the scenes is far from a villain, he will be more than clever enough to play up this role when the time comes to sell what will be a gargantuan heavyweight title fight ultimately.
Speaking to Daily The Telegraph – Fury revealed the fight month date and stadium is already booked well in advance:
“Eddie Hearn (Joshua promoter) has already booked Wembley Stadium for next April. There isn’t another stadium where it should take place. I would fight Joshua in October but I believe Klitschko will take the rematch.”
Music to the ears of boxing fans looking to see these two settle their differences.
Provided both guys stay on track and hold at least one or some versions of the heavyweight title, it could be twice as big as Joshua vs Klitschko was.
At least.
