UK heavyweight David Haye gives his take on Anthony Joshua after the Klitschko fight and breaks down it’s significance.
David Haye is currently recovering from his Achilles injury sustained in his heavyweight bout back in March against Tony Bellew in the UK.
It was a fight that shocked not just Haye, but most boxing observers – when Bellew won a stoppage over Haye despite the Liverpool man been a big underdog going into the fight.
Love him or hate him, David Haye is always in exciting fights.
Even if he might be a bit past his best now, if he does make a comeback and returns to anything close to his old form, he’d be an exciting addition to the revitalized heavyweight boxing landscape.
Haye has been a keen observer of fellow British fighter Anthony Joshua throughout his career up to this point and has always sung his praises.
Now Haye finds himself out of action but when he comes back no doubt Joshua will become a target for him if he’s to make one last run at the heavyweight title.
Haye was impressed with the Joshua vs Klitschko like everyone else and gave a great breakdown of not just the fight, but the heavyweight landscape as a whole here:
