Conor McGregor and Katie Taylor meet for the first time ever here as the worlds of female boxing and MMA come together.

Conor McGregor and Katie Taylor will be well known to many boxing and MMA fans around the world for their considerable achievements in their respective sports – but this week was the first time they actually ever met.

Thus us despite the fact they both live relatively short distance away from one another in Ireland where they are from.

Here’s the moment the two caught up with one another for the first time:

Taylor is celebrated as one of the country’s best ever sports stars and respected for her humility and considerable achievements within female boxing.

McGregor has an equally massive following with the Irish the world over.

Although he is certainly a different character from Taylor personality-wise, he holds just as impressive achievements in what he’s been able to do in such a short time frame these past few years.

McGregor is still understood to be locked in negotiations for a potential boxing match with American Floyd Mayweather.

Taylor recently won her 5th pro fight on the undercard of Joshua vs Klitschko at Wembley stadium.
