Two-weight world champion Carl Frampton gets into it online with a world champion over a negotiation dispute.
Carl Frampton is on the lookout for his next opponent at present following surrendering his unbeaten record and his world title last time out.
That came back in January in Las Vegas to Mexican Leo Santa Cruz – who proved he could adapt against Frampton on the night and surprised everyone with his superb boxing tactics, opting to box more than his traditional come forward, usually super-aggressive style would have suggested beforehand at least.

Speculation of a trilogy fight between the pair was rampant straight after the fight but those talks seemed to have cooled in recent months with an apparent lack of interest from the Santa Cruz camp in travelling to Belfast for the fight as team Frampton initially wanted.
However ‘The Jackal’ appears to be lining up another world title fight soon, closer to home no less, with Welshman and IBF featherweight champion Lee Selby.
Talks have hit a snag however with Frampton saying today to Selby on Twitter:
Your team told us you could get out of your mandatory. IBF official told us on Sat you MUST fight him. Sort that out and we can fight https://t.co/nL0TVaPwf8

It appears that the fight won’t be happening next time out at least with Selby needing to face his mandatory contender next.
It will be interesting to see who Carl Frampton takes on next though. The featherweight division certainly has plenty of options if the Santa Cruz rematch can’t be made.
