UFC president Dana White reacts to a report that came out suggesting that he has been locked out of the Mayweather McGregor talks.
We are now in the summer and the whole Mayweather McGregor saga still seems to have no end in sight – in terms of when and where it will happen.
The consensus seems to be that it will definitely happen though, but because of the nature of such a cross-sport deal that is – the powers that be involved in the making the fight are taking their sweet time.

In the meantime, there has been some excellent fights that have already happened and have been confirmed that carry legitimate boxing credibility in terms of being competitive.
Anthony Joshua vs Wladimir Klitschko recently springs to mind for the heavyweight championship, as well as Gennady Golovkin vs Canelo Alvarez getting announced for this coming September 16th in Las Vegas.
During the week a report from the LA Times suggested that Dana White was removed from the negotiations for Mayweather vs McGregor by the new owners of the UFC – who purchased the company from White and his two friends for a whopping $4.1 billion not too long ago.
White has poured cold water over these claims however from the usually very respected LA Times. Here’s how Dana White reacted to the news on TMZ YouTube (hat tip):
