Conor McGregor’s former sparring partner gives take on Mayweather-McGregor, gives the UFC superstar little chance of success.
Chris Van Heerden’s sparring footage with Conor McGregor has certainly done the rounds on social media, and now the South Africa himself has given his take on McGregor vs Mayweather.
The footage has supported many fans opinions that McGregor will have little to no chance of upsetting the huge odds in Floyd’s favour.
Van Heerden is a former IBO Welterweight champion, and is best known for a galant stoppage loss at the hands of the exceptional Errol Spence Jr.
Van Heerden’s opinion fits in with most. McGregor will not only struggle to land on Mayweather, but Floyd will find it very easy to find his range against the boxing debutant.
People telling me Mayweather will have his hands full trying to land on McGregor -STOP IT! I respect McGregor BUT i ain't Floyd and i landed pic.twitter.com/gd4dFi3XUU

Many other fighters are likely to give their take on a contest that is considered both a superfight and mismatch all in one. But very few will have the first hand experience that Van Heerden has in the boxing ring with Conor – even if it was just sparring.
