Welterweight champion Errol Spence throws out first pitch at the Texas Rangers baseball game in his hometown.
Errol Spence Jr is enjoying his well earned added fame following his historic win over Kell Brook earlier this year where the Texan travelled to Brook’s backyard in Sheffield, England to capture the IBF welterweight world title.
Spence is not known for being a cocky or outspoken boxer, more intent on doing his talking with his fists in the ring (as Brook’s eye found out).

But it’s always good to see someone get recognition who deserves it in boxing, on merit and for their ability alone, not necessarily their ability to talk and sell a fight – which is so often the case these days.
Errol Spence Jr now has a number of options in front of him at 147lbs accordingly.
Big fights against the likes of Keith Thurman, Danny Garcia and others in the States are possible immediate options considering they fight under the same banner – the Premier Boxing Champions TV series.
This week Spence has been soaking up some hometown recognition as he threw out at a baseball game in Texas.
Here’s how he got on:
Had to go out there and look better than 50 lol… now just gotta wait for the @Rangers to offer that contract !! 😎👊🏾⚾️@RealCarlosGomez pic.twitter.com/TezbPq9Ul8

Not bad to be fair. Perhaps he’ll be sticking to his boxing career for the time being, though.
