The Natasha Jonas pro debut looked like it went exactly to plan as she seemed calm and composed tonight in Newcastle.
The Liverpool southpaw, turned Sky Sports ambassador and also full-time mother made her professional boxing debut tonight on Sky Sports in Newcastle.
The show was closed in the very first round as Jonas looked calm and composed, measuring her opponent and unleashing a string of unanswered punches straight down the pipe.

After the fight Jonas and her trainer Joe Gallagher mentioned that Katie Taylor would be a good foe one day but both women are currently on their own journey.
Ireland’s Katie Taylor made her pro debut in 2016 and has got off to a blistering start thus far.
Perhaps Taylor is a little bit out of reach of Jonas just yet, but what a fight it could be in a year or two’s time when one or possibly both hold a version of the world title.
The two shared a rivalry in the amateurs when Katie Taylor beat Jonas in the 2012 Olympic games on route to winning the Olympic gold medal ultimately.
Female boxing seems to be on the up and up at the moment with the likes of Taylor, Jonas, Savannah Marshall, Nicola Adams and Claressa Shields in the US all recently turning professional in the last year.
