Arthur Abraham Misses Weight For Chris Eubank Jr Fight

Former world champion Arthur Abraham from Germany has missed weight ahead of his showdown with Chris Eubank Jr.

Advantage Eubank Jr.

Arthur Abraham is now in the final stages of his career and some questions did exist coming into tomorrow night’s ITV pay per view fight surrounding how much motivation he had left.

That question may now have been answered after he missed weight today first time around ahead of his fight with Eubank Jr in London tomorrow night.

For clarity, Abraham was one pound and 15 ounces over the limit for the IBO title limit at the first time of asking.

He has a couple of hours to make weight again at the second time of asking.

Nearly a full two pounds over will surely please Eubank Jr and his father – who know that the German away challenger will now have to go through some discomfort before stepping in the ring tomorrow night.

A place in the World Boxing Super Series is on the line for tomorrow’s winner. Eubank Jr is the favorite with the bookmakers ahead of the fight.

He came in under weight at the first time of trying with relative ease it must be noted.

Here is what happened as Arthur Abraham missed weight first time around (hat tip IFL YouTube):
