George Groves was involved in the commentary for Chris Eubank Jr’s latest win but didn’t get much of a word in after.
Chris Eubank Jr and George Groves could very well be on a collision course soon following Eubank Jr’s win at the weekend that now sees him in the same upcoming competition as Groves.
That is the World Boxing Super Series super-middleweight tournament no less, where some of the world’s leading 168lbs fighters will face off for the Muhammad Ali trophy to see who the number one super-middleweight in the world is.
Although numbers have not been confirmed officially as of yet, Eubank Jr’s weekend unanimous points decision victory over German Arthur Abraham is expected to exceed initial projections for pay per view.

It was a pay per view event on ITV in the UK, criticised heavily beforehand, but the sentiment afterwards seems to be that numbers could surprise a few people.
There is no denying that Eubank Jr is a big name in UK boxing, one that is growing too – all be it he is in need of a live test very soon since his last one against Billy Joe Saunders a few years back.
