Carl Frampton verbally battered UK boxer Ohara Davies on Twitter with a to the point summation of what he thinks of him as a fighter and as a man.
British super-lightweight fighter Ohara Davies has been in the news cycle in the boxing world a lot over the last 24 hours following controversial comments made towards the wife of Irish boxer Paddy Barnes.
The two got into a row on Twitter that saw Davies post the following to Barnes – including a jab at him and his wife:

Carl Frampton (whom Barnes was best man at his wedding) came to the defence of his pal with a Tweet that got a shed load of likes and re-tweets where Frampton summed up what he thought of Davies:
@OharaDavies you're a disrespectful pleb who quits when it gets tough. I thought @JoshTaylorBoxer punched manners into you. Back in your box

Davies subsequently back peddled on his initial tweet, deleted it and made a formal apology here to Barnes and his wife.

Twitter wars seem to have become the norm these days in the sport of boxing but bringing people’s family members into things is surely, even for a sport as nutty as boxing, a step way, way too far.
From Frampton’s boxing career’s point of view he has more serious business pressing as he readies himself for his next test when he returns to the ring next weekend.
‘The Jackal’ will make his homecoming to Belfast when he takes on Andres Gutierrez on the 29th of July at the SSE Arena live on Channel 5.
