Gennady Golovkin working on his ferocious power punches ahead of September’s eagerly anticipated Canelo fight.
Perhaps one of the key questions coming into the Golovkin vs Canelo fight surrounds whether or not Canelo will be able to handle the ‘GGG’ power.
Golovkin’s last opponent went the distance with him, the first time someone had done that in sometime – but New Yorker Daniel Jacobs did taste the canvas during the fight and is a much bigger, natural middleweight than Canelo is – it must be said.

Canelo is a big, still very young guy mind you. The move to middleweight should suit him down to the ground over the coming years as he settles into 160lbs.
However as things stand, he’s still fairly inexperienced at the weight and questions remain around how he’ll match up with someone’s of Golovkin’s freak-like ability to turn people’s lights off with a single shot.
