Lets take a look at the Carl Frampton odds ahead of his return to Belfast this Saturday night at the SSE Arena in his hometown.
‘The Jackal’ returns to what many consider (including this writer) the place in the world where the best boxing fans exist – Belfast.
The local Belfast man boxes in his hometown for the first time since stopping Chris Avalos in vintage fashion back in 2015.
Since then, Frampton has become a two-weight world champion, beat long-time rival Scott Quigg convincingly via unanimous decision, fought in Vegas and squeezed in one win against four-weight world champ Leo Santa Cruz (currently they are 1-1 in their two fights).

This weekend Frampton will fight Andres Gutierrez live on Channel 5 – via free to air viewing for fans in the UK and Ireland.
Gutierrez, a teak tough Mexican with plenty of pop – has only ever tasted defeat once in his pro career to date (35-1-1-25KO).
He’s campaigned primarily in his native Mexico in his pro career other than two occasions where he boxed in the US.
Ahead of this weekend’s fight here are the Carl Frampton odds as favorite to beat the Mexican outright:
(All odds via Oddschecker and are subject to slight change up until the bell for round 1):
As you can see Frampton is a warm favorite.
Expect him to come out all guns blazing too following the first professional loss of his career last time out via majority decision to Leo Santa Cruz back in January.
For more value than the above however, Betfair are currently offering 78/5 on a Frampton win inside the distance.
That works out as a whopping 15.6/1 which if is still available up to fight night is surely worth a small cheeky wager at those odds.
In the words of the man himself this morning, roll on fight week:
