Broner celebrated his birthday yesterday on weigh-in day, turning 28.
A mature performance in the ring will be what’s needed tonight as he’ll need to keep cool and use his boxing IQ when the dynamite fists of Garcia start flying at him.
When Broner has been at his best in the past, it’s been when he’s stuck to his boxing skills and remained clever in the ring, picking his spots at the right time to defend or attack.
Garcia will test him to his limits tonight and the bookmakers consequently are making Garcia a warm favorite at 2/5 coming into the fight.
Broner has promised to be more ‘serious’ tonight – he’ll need to be.
