The official Mayweather McGregor ticket sales don’t seem to be going as fast as the organisers first thought.
In recent days reports in various quarters have emerged that Mayweather McGregor ticket sales are slow.
The promoters of the event said they are not too concerned however and expect it to be a sell out come August 26th.
If you believe that pay per view broadcasters in the US and UK are expecting the fight to be the biggest selling pay per view of all time and to top 5 million buys in the US alone, you’d expect the ticket sales to perhaps match this trend though.
They’ve been on sale over a week now and upon inspection on the official Ticketmaster website today, there are plenty of face value tickets left (see below).

However organisers did change the minimum amount fans could buy from 2 to 6 – which some have noted as an effort to shift the slower than expected sales.
One thing straight away about them that stands out is the incredible price – even at face value.
