A Vasyl Lomachenko masterclass would be a fair assessment of his performance last night in most people’s books, surely.
The battering he gave Miguel Marriaga further testament to his growing star within the sport of boxing and evidence of his pound for pound rated skills.
Although he did come out of the fight more marked up than usual, it wasn’t because of sustaining punches – more so the use of the head from Marriaga.
This only made Miguel’s fate more painful in the end, as Lomachenko unleashed his full sweet science arsenal on him.
