Amir Khan issues a moving on message for his fans and followers after one of the most bizarre set of tweets in boxing recently.
The dust has now settled on what was a bizarre time in boxing in recent days after Amir Khan announced he was leaving his wife because in his view – she wanted to be with current heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.
The amount of jokes, memes and video edits that swept the internet thereafter was quite staggering.

Many thought the tweets from Khan’s verified account were the workings of a hacker who somehow got into Khan’s twitter account to send them.
But now that the dust has settled and the tweets remain on his verified (with the blue tick) official account, it is clear that they were genuine.

Now Khan has issued a message to his followers that he is moving on and that he will be concentrating on what he does best once again – boxing:

Khan has not boxed since suffering knockout defeat to Canelo Alvarez in May of 2016 in Las Vegas.
As of this time, Khan has only boxed twice in the last 32 months.
