Some of the best reactions from around the world of boxing to Terence Crawford unifying the belts in the 140lbs division.
Terence Crawford did something that no other man in boxing has been able to do in over a decade. Which was:
Become the undisputed world champion in his weight class be winning all the major professional world titles at his weight class.
No other fighter at junior-welterweight can call themselves world champion and in Terence Crawford’s words last night:
“Belts matter.”
While Mayweather-McGregor mania continues to sweep most of the internet in boxing terms, last night’s incredible achievement did not go under the radar to boxing fans and the wider sweet science community.
Here are some of the reactions from around the world of boxing to Terence Crawford unifying the belts:
Like I said. @budcrawford402 was on my top 5, now he is on my top 3 and mine is a better list than the paid Media.

Prior to the fight there were some concerns that Crawford struggled to make the weight. You wouldn’t have known from his performance mind you.
Crawford moving up to welterweight next would open up a whole host of even more intriguing fights.
One suspects this talented Omaha native will make the move to 147lbs at some point – as he’s virtually done everything he can at junior-welterweight.
