This new Anthony Joshua tennis ball routine looks an interesting one in keeping with more and more boxers doing the same.
More and more fighters seem to be incorporating this into their preparation with the school of thought being that it improves a boxer’s hand-eye coordination in the ring and ultimately, helps with a fighter’s accuracy in finding the target.
This came to the forefront perhaps for the most notable time in recent memory at least – before the first Andre Ward and Sergey Kovalev in 2016 where Kovalev used the technique.
It may seem simple, but that’s what Joshua wants – as he said on Instagram:
“Simplicity Is Genius ???”
It was reported earlier today that Joshua will next fight on October 28th most likely in Wales against his mandatory contender Kubrat Pulev.
Joshua currently sits on top of the heavyweight division but should he come through Pulev successfully next up, one would expect him back in the ultra tough fights like his last contest against Wladimir Klitschko back in April.
