Teddy Atlas and Stephen A Smith in a bizarre clip following the Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor fight in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena.
It was a fight that divided opinion beforehand – and has perhaps done so even more in its aftermath.
Floyd Mayweather did ultimately what he was expected to do – stop Conor McGregor inside the distance. All be it he took a little longer than most thought it would take.
Afterwards in the post-fight press conference Mayweather revealed that he and his father planned on breaking McGregor down and taking him out by about round 6 or 7.
But McGregor was a little better than he thought.
ESPN’s broadcasters working the fight Teddy Atlas and Stephen A Smith went at it verbally on TV following the fight in one of the stranger clips you’ll likely see in sports this year:

Passion? Check.
Craziness? Double check.
Teddy Atlas appears to be getting more and more animated from broadcast to broadcast in boxing recently. He never minces his words but his energy level is bordering on overburn at times.
It almost seems like he’s going to lose it on camera one of these days and snap completely. Teddy Atlas – probably the most passionate guy in all of boxing.
