Light-Heavyweight Chris Davies is says he is ready to impress after spending his camp at the prestigious Mayweather and Wildcard gyms.
The 28-year-old is set to feature on Steve Goodwin’s ‘Date with Destiny’ card at York Hall later this month.
Unbeaten as a professional, the bout will be Davies sixth fight in total and third this year.
And the Richmond-born fighter says he gained invaluable experience traveling over to the famous Mayweather gym.
He said:
“Going out and sparring in the Mayweather or Wildcard gym is unbelievable.
“I ended up doing some rounds with Ronald Gavrill who just fought for the WBC World Super-Middleweight title.
“It’s great to spar all different styles and that’s certainly what you get over there.
“I get great sparring back home with Robin Dupre my stablemate but being out in America for training this time round was huge.
“I feel great going into this fight now, tickets are still available so contact me on social media if you want to come.
“I appreciate every single fan that pays their money to come and see me.”
