Carl Frampton Signs With New Promoter and Broadcaster And Gives His Reasons

Two-weight world champion Carl Frampton signs with a new promoter after weeks of speculation and gives his reasons for the choice.

Earlier this week Frampton announced that he had hooked up with MGM Global for his new management team in Europe while still retaining the advise of Al Haymon in the US, it is understood.

However since his well publicised split from old promoter Cyclone Promotions in recent times the big question was who was Frampton going to pick for his promoter and broadcaster going forward.

Many had speculated that a return to Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Sport was on the cards but the news has come that it will not be.

Instead Frampton has signed with boxing promoter Frank Warren and his fights will be shown on BT Sports moving forward:

It is not known when his next fight will come but he cleared up the reason for his choice in promoter, which was a simple one:

Carl Frampton currently holds a professional boxing record of 23-1-14KO.
