Anthony Fowler marched on in his third fight of his professional boxing career this weekend with a shuddering stoppage in Liverpool.
Fighting in front of his hometown fans at the Echo Arena, the former amateur standout wasted little time in getting down to work against opponent Jay Bryrne.
After establishing his jab in the early rounds and trying to get his distance right against Byrne, Fowler found his groove in round 4 of a scheduled 6 round bout.

The body shots clearly doing the damage.
That makes it three stoppage wins from three fights – since turning pro earlier this year for the Liverpool super-welterweight fighter.
No doubt his promoter Eddie Hearn will be looking to step him up in competition soon with some of these big hitting knockouts.

As an amateur, he captured a Bronze medal at the 2013 World Championships and a Gold medal at the 2014 Commonwealth games.
