WBC Heavyweight champion of the world Deontay Wilder reacts to Las Vegas shootings that have horrified not only America, but the wider world.
October 1st, 2017 will forever be known as a day of darkness in Las Vegas after a sole gunman Stephen Paddock opened fire on a crowd of innocent concert goers causing the loss of 59 lives (as of the time of this article).
Well over 500 people have also been injured because of the crazed gunman’s actions and everyone, including those in the boxing world in Las Vegas, are in a state of shock.
It is not known if Stephen Paddock had a motive at this point but so far according to reports it is understood that he was a former accountant who was retired, had two properties in the State of Nevada, and police have found a huge amount of guns at one of his homes.

Wilder is currently awaiting to see if his fight with Luis Ortiz scheduled for November 4th in New York will go ahead or not.
Or if he will be facing a new opponent following recent news surrounding a VADA test of Ortiz.
