Controversial and well known founder of BALCO Victor Conte speaks on the Luis Ortiz test result from VADA ahead of November 4th fight with Deontay Wilder.
The fallout since the World Boxing Council President tweeted that Luis Ortiz tested positive for a banned substance in a VADA test as part of his organization’s ‘Clean Boxing Program’ continues – as still officially on paper at least, the fight between Deontay Wilder and Luis Ortiz has not been cancelled as of yet.
There has been heavy doubt about whether it will go ahead however but as of this time, no official confirmation has come that the fight is cancelled.
Since the WBC President made his remark Cuban heavyweight Luis Ortiz’ management team have defended their man passionately.
They have said that the test result was only due to prescribed blood pressure medicine that Ortiz has been prescribed to take by a competent doctor.
