Former world champion Danny Garcia opens up on what he would do if he and Conor McGregor stepped in the ring and fought.
Since Conor McGregor’s sole foray into the world of professional boxing last August against Floyd Mayweather, it seems every man and his dog wants a piece of the Irishman.
The UFC fighter is understood to be taking the rest of the year off from all combat sports however, with a movie on his story due to be released this November.
His coach while speaking on national TV in Ireland this weekend mentioned that they are targeting a return for McGregor on St.Patrick’s day of 2018.
Whether this be back in a pro boxing ring of UFC Octagon remains to be seen.
But if it’s the former, one Danny Garcia has said he is more than willing and ready to get in there with McGregor.
Danny Garcia last fought in March 2017 when he suffered the first loss of his pro boxing career to welterweight champion Keith ‘One Time’ Thurman in New York.
As things currently stand, Danny Garcia is still looking for a new opponent to compete for the second time against in 2017.
