A UK boxing event in Walsall witnessed some truly horrific scenes this past weekend when a full on riot broke out.
It has been reported by The Sun that one teenage spectator in attendance was stabbed during the chaos and at the time of this article, is now fighting for their life.
The shocking scenes began in the middle of a boxing match between Luke Paddock and Myron Mills in what can only be described as a black eye for the sport.
Chairs and tables went flying amid truly horrific scenes that were caught on camera here by Nadhia Ali YouTube channel (hat tip):
It is understood that the police have launched an investigation into what happened and have reported to the public that a 19 year old male remains in critical condition following the event and another person was treated for non life threatening injuries.
It was also reported that the knife attacks happened when trouble spilled outside onto the street – outside of the arena where the match took place.
On the same night there were also altercations in the crowd at both the World Boxing Super Series event in London and at the Barclays Center in New York following the Jermell Charlo vs Erickson Lubin fight.
Although the latter two incidents were not full on riots like the above and did not result in anyone getting hurt thankfully.
Everyone at Boxing News and Views wishes those injured in Walsall last night a speed recovery.
