It must be a hard thing for a mother to watch her son step into a professional boxing ring against another trained athlete, but Olympian Joe Joyce’s mother has gone on the verbal offensive ahead of her son’s debut as a pro.
2016 Olympic Silver medallist Joe Joyce makes his pro debut this Friday against the always teak tough Ian Lewinson from the UK.
Lewinson fought contender Dillian Whyte in his last fight out back in October of 2016, and Joyce will step in there with him on his very first pro fight.

Heavyweight Joyce will box live this Friday night on free to air in the UK on Channel Dave, as part of David Haye’s new promotional company’s latest show.
