Heavyweight Joe Joyce makes his professional boxing debut tonight in London fighting on a David Haye promoted event.
Indeed, Haye has been very vocal in his passionate praise of his fighter.
Joe Joyce’s debut on Dave is well anticipated, and rightly so as he takes on an extremely tough challenge against the durable Ian Lewison 12-3-1(8KO’s).
But the experienced amateur is 32-year old and must make quick progress if he is to have an equally successful career in the pros.
Lewison is more than just a tough opponent mind you. He brings a heavy punch of his own, and over 10 rounds will offer plenty of tests for the chin of Joyce.

Some have suggested that this could be a bold move by Haye putting Joe Joyce in there with such a tough opponent in his very first fight in the pros, but time will tell.
