Brain Damaged American Boxer Has A Message For Promoters Roc Nation

A brain damaged American boxer who was a former professional fighter has a message that is going viral for American promoters Roc Nation.

Former featherweight fighter Daniel ‘Twitch’ Franco of Riverside, California suffered two bleeds on the brain last June after a knockout defeat sustained in a bout against Jose Haro in Sloan.

Following an initially critical health situation, it is understood that Franco made some progress in his recovery at first.

However due to the significant nature of the injuries and his incredibly high medical bills due to the American health system being in tatters like it is, his medical bills have now become astronomically high.

Franco has had to set up a Go Fund Me Page here following his bout earlier in the year. A fight which effectively ended his career and almost his life.

Here is the bout in question earlier this year:

Now the brain damaged American boxer has posted the following message to his former promoter, Roc Nation:

A brutal reality of the often painful realities that the sport of boxing can produce to this day, even in 2017.

Everyone at Boxing News and Views wishes Daniel Franco a speedy recovery from his ongoing health battle.
