Katie Taylor world title win reaction following thrilling points victory that saw her become champion of the world on Joshua undercard.
Ireland’s Katie Taylor won the WBA world title tonight in a win not just for her or women’s boxing, but female sport and sports, period.
Perhaps one of the best ambassadors one could ask for in professional sport. Taylor lived up to this mantra and more importantly, delivered entertainment in the ring.
From start to finish she fought with ferocity and intelligence, dropping her opponent at one point on route to winning a 10 round points decision.
