Could Kalle Sauerland be turning into the modern day people’s promoter of boxing? These tweets suggest as much.
In the politically correct-driven online world we now live in, it is often you see a public persona engage in banter with fans without fear of upsetting someone or tarnishing a made up ‘image’.
Well, German-based boxing promoter Kalle Sauerland doesn’t fall into that bracket.
Known to be a bit of ‘Jack the Lad’ and fan-friendly person who enjoys life to the full, he’s been having some fun with boxing fans this week in Twitter.
So much so it’s earned a huge amount of reaction from entertained boxing fans the world over. After all, isn’t that part of the job of a promoter, too – to entertain?
Sauerland’s sense of humour and willingness to have a joke at himself continues to win over fans in recent days with some of these candidly brilliant responses to fan questions sent in:

Ah, good old Twitter and boxing, where the fun never apparently seems to stop.
On a more serious note Sauerland is currently working on final arrangements including date and location for his World Boxing Super Series semi-final fight between Chris Eubank Jr and George Groves.
A bout expected to be one of the best fights of the tournament to date in the super-middleweight division.
