Hearn has hit back with an interview with Kugan Cassius of IFL TV, imitating his rival promoter’s Swiss accent while saying:
“Come on, don’t be like that (laughs). When was the last time you made a big fight? I cannot remember it was so long ago! Listen, if I’m a rookie after six years and I’m spanking his a*** all over the gaf – imagine what’s going to happen in ten years time.”
He added:
“I don’t know Schaefer. I can’t really say I dislike like him. He’s got the worst dress sense I’ve ever seen. That video I saw he had some John Wayne jacket on. It was like camel leather with a polo on. I mean, shocking.”
He concluded:
“Schaefer I don’t dislike, but if he keeps piping up then I’ll have to end him on social media. Just putting it out there, Dickey boy.”
