An incredible Caleb Truax upset win over James DeGale saw him become world champion in possibly upset of the year – Twitter reacts.
Caleb Truax had three defeats on his record coming into tonight’s potential upset of the year candidate. Only to top names mind you in the form of Jermain Taylor, Anthony Dirrell and Danny Jacobs.
But the 34-year-old American proved to the old saying true, never underestimate your opponent.
It could have been the case tonight as he ripped the world title away from James DeGale in the Englishman’s backyard of London to become new IBF super-middleweight world champion.
The boxing world has been in disbelief and has been going mad following the upset, which was well deserved by the American in the end:
No idea what Bunce and Woodhall were watching to have scored that to DeGale. Fair play to Warren for admitting Truax nicked it.

WOW! That’s all I can say. What an upset! Truax was good. But DeGale was very bad tonight. Poor movement.
