Boxing fans have shown a lot of respect for Hall of Fame promoter Frank Warren in his reaction to James DeGale’s shock defeat.
James DeGale lost his IBF title this weekend but judging by the commentary team in the UK, it appeared that they didn’t think this should have been the case.
Most fans agree that it was a close fight but the right man in Caleb Truax got the nod though.
DeGale’s promoter Frank Warren also agreed with the decision afterwards, calling it as he saw it from ringside:
"I said to him before the 12th, you have to knock him out!"

Fans have been appreciating the candid response from the Hall of Fame promoter. An honest, accurate analysis of what transpired:
Why does a promoter have a better understanding of how a fight is going than the corner?

No spin, honest assessment. @EddieHearn could learn a thing or two from this.

Like the fact BT say it how it is. Sky and matchroom would be making all the excuses under the sun and make it seem like a robbery

Fair play to Frank Warren. Completely honest about the result. He said DeGale lost it.
