Bernard Hopkins Explains How Frank Warren Is Not To Be Underestimated

Bernard Hopkins Explains How Frank Warren

Legendary retired fighter Bernard Hopkins is promoting this weekend’s world title fight in Canada and is expecting some solid action in the ring.

Hopkins now retired, works more regularly in his partnership in Golden Boy Promotions who are staging this weekend’s world title fight in his old division (160lbs) between Canada’s David Lemieux and England’s Billy Joe Saunders.

Englishman Saunders is the champion and promoted by Hall of Fame boxing promoter Frank Warren.

Hopkins from experience has pointed out to never underestimate Hall of Fame promoter Frank Warren’s fighters – as we were advised yesterday:

“We have two guys whose styles really go together. When you have that type of skills and that type of matchup, you’re going to have fireworks. Anyone that underestimates a fighter that Frank Warren brings over, from wherever he brings him from, you gotta take that seriously. I know from experience that he didn’t come here to lay down, he didn’t come here to give anything away.”

The action this weekend will go out live on HBO in the US and on BoxNation / BT Sports in the UK.

Also on the card will be popular fighting Irishman Gary “Spike” O’Sullivan.
