Usually Quiet and Reserved Katie Taylor Hits Back On Twitter

Katie Taylor involved in heated Twitter discussion – did you read that right? Yeah, you sure did. The world champion boxing sensation has taken to Twitter to respond to some criticism.

Twitter is perhaps the number one vehicle used by boxers to voice their opinion today, a platform that comes with plenty of positives and negatives.

Respected BBC journalist Mike Costello and UK boxing expert Steve Bunce were critical of some aspects of Katie Taylor’s most recent outing in the ring.

A unanimous decision over 10 rounds against American Jessica McCaskill in what was a tough night’s work for the Irish golden girl, but one that also showed a different side to her game boxing on the back foot at different times in the contest.

In response to some of the criticism from the two above respected British journalists, Katie Taylor hit back today on Twitter saying:

It is thought that Taylor will next fight again in either March or April of 2018. She currently holds a professional record of 8-0-4KO.
