Terence Crawford piling on the pounds in his latest weight check ahead of expected debut in the welterweight division in 2018.
2017 was an astonishing year for Terence Crawford.
He became the first man in many a year to unify all the world title belts in boxing and after cleaning out the division, announced he will be moving up to the 147lbs weight limit next up.
Anyone doubting his size and frame for the division may have to think again however, as this check weight shows that he has more than enough weight as things stand:

177lbs is exactly 30lbs over weight for a welterweight bout at present, so he’ll need to work hard in the new year to work off that Christmas turkey no doubt.
What it does show perhaps, if anything, is that he may have the frame over the course of a few years to go up another weight.
Or maybe even two.
Fights with the likes of Keith Thurman, Danny Garcia, Amir Khan, Errol Spence and many other welterweight sharks will be enough to keep his attention for the time being, more than enough so.
