Reports of the fight being worth nearly $1 million have been addressed by the Australian heavyweight who is heavily linked to take on Whyte next up in 2018.
Both Whyte and Browne have gone back and forth in Twitter wars at different times in 2017 but it appears in 2018 – they’ll finally get to do it for real in the ring.
Two come forward guys who really only know how to fight one way – by throwing big bombs until the other guy in front of them is out for the count.
Whyte will come into the bout (if it is next up) not in great form though.
Following a fight with Robert Helenius in November left fans displeased after Helenius came to survive against the Brixton man.
This won’t be the case with Browne though.
He loves to fight and speaking on his official Twitter account the Australian cleared up some rumours about the fight’s purse and where negotiations are currently at:

$1 million does seem a bit much for a fight like this to be fair. A good fight mind you.
One that should offer plenty of value for fans if it’s made.
One would imagine that promoters of the fight will aim to put it on the same card as Anthony Joshua vs Joseph Parker – which is expected to take place next March or April.
