Roy Jones Set To Fight Again In 2018 And Continue Boxing Career

Boxing great Roy Jones will box again in the new year and will turn 49 years old this coming January.

The boxing legend is now well and truly removed from his prime and has a successful commentating career with HBO.

Some of his fans have expressed concern in recent years about the risk involved with boxing on, both health-wise and to his legacy.

He recorded one win in total for 2017 against Bobby Gunn and will continue his career in the new year with the following update on his official Facebook page:

Roy Jones Set To Fight Again

Jones has had a number of ventures outside of boxing in recent years but it will be interesting to see if his next fight does prove to be the last of his career and who it might be against if so.

To this day Roy Jones is still only one of two men in history to win world titles in both the middleweight and heavyweight divisions during a professional boxing career.

His current pro records reads 65-9-47KO. In recent years Jones also had an exhibition bout where he fought a fan:
