Retired former pound for pound number one boxer Floyd Mayweather sings praises of Billy Joe Saunders following his win in Canada over David Lemieux.
Last month Saunders wiped out Lemieux by unanimous decision and earned plaudits from around the boxing world for his skill put on show.
Since then, he’s back in the UK and already staying in training for what he hopes will be another back to back fight soon – following some frustration of inactivity in years gone by.
That frustration certainly seems to be a thing of the past now however with the likes of Floyd Mayweather saying the following about his latest performance (hat tip BoxNation Twitter):
“I like @bjsaunders_. He’s real smart. Hell of a boxer. He’s got good movement, he gives a lot of guys problems” – @FloydMayweather

Mayweather himself is currently retired but still involved in the sport from a promotion level with his company Mayweather Promotions.
